You may have noticed a new type of email notification from us regarding "community requests". These are new notifications to let you know there are care requests needing offers from local care providers such as yourselves.
These requests were unable to be fulfilled by the original care provider contacted, so Pairly then matches that request with local providers who have adequate services. This system is designed to help people find care from a trusted care provider who can accommodate their needs.
Do community requests cost anything?
No, to help people find care as quickly as possible, we do not charge for community requests. You can offer on as many, or as few, as you like. Just don't forget to update your progress on Pairly, so we know that the request has been accepted.
How do I offer on a community request?
Unlike care requests which are sent directly to a care provider, community requests will not have contact information visible until a care provider has put in an offer, and the care seeker has accepted. This is to protect care seeker privacy.
Inside the community requests tab (on your Pairly.com profile), you will see the option to "send offer". If you don't have availability, you will still be able to see the requests, and the system will give you the opportunity to add availability that matches.
Once the care seeker accepts your offer, you can accept in turn, and the request will be moved to your private area.
